Michael R. Donahue
Michael Donahue has thirty years of successful senior executive hospitality management experience in strategic sales, marketing, electronic distribution, CRM, branding, and e-commerce initiatives. Currently he serves as CEO of both Hotel Wise Man and of Donahue Consulting (www.donahueconsulting.com) based in the Newport Beach area of Southern California.
Prior to forming these entities, he was Vice President of Marketing for The Irvine Company’s Resort Properties Division, a luxury resort, country club, marina developer and manager. Formerly he was President and Co-Founder of Clairvoyix, a customer marketing technology company that provides web based Customer Relationship Management applications to the hospitality industry. Preceding Clairvoyix he served as the Vice President of Marketing for KSL Resorts, where he was responsible for all marketing functions for the industry leader in mega luxury resorts (La Costa, Arizona Biltmore, Doral, La Quinta, PGA WEST, Grand Wailea, etc).
Additionally, Michael has served as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for Pegasus Solutions, the industry leader in electronic distribution services, VP- Marketing and Development for Lane Hospitality, a top tier Chicago based management firm, and he has held senior executive management positions with Radisson and InterContinental Hotels and Resorts.
A frequent speaker at industry events, Michael has also served on the Board of Directors of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International {HSMAI} as well as on the Marketing Steering Committee of the American Hospitality and Lodging Association {AH&LA}.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Communications at the University of Illinois in Champaign.
